KPV
KPV is a tripeptide (lysine-proline-valine) corresponding to the C-terminal region of α-MSH (alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone), which retains some of the anti-inflammatory activity of the parent molecule without the pigmentary effects. In laboratory research it has been studied in models of inflammatory bowel disease, dermatitis, and mast cell stabilization.
