CJC-1295 (No DAC) — also known as Modified GRF (1-29) — is a tetra-substituted analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) without the Drug Affinity Complex linker. It retains the substitutions that resist enzymatic degradation, but keeps a short, natural half-life.
What does "No DAC" mean?
The DAC linker (Drug Affinity Complex) is a chemical addition that binds the peptide to albumin in the bloodstream, extending its half-life from about 30 minutes to roughly one week. The No DAC version omits this linker — it's the same core GHRH peptide, but it clears the system quickly, producing a brief pulse rather than a sustained signal.
Half-life without DAC: approximately 30 minutes.
Half-life with DAC: approximately one week.

The No DAC variant produces brief, pulsatile growth hormone release that more closely mimics the body's natural rhythm.
